RAISING AWARENESS
Through Strangers Eyes is a community focused mental health, story telling and support for everyday people who are looking for a sense of belonging and understanding.
Hi, my name is Blair and I have decided to hold a space for people to approach and share their stories, adversities and knowledge they have gained throughout their life. Through Strangers Eyes is exactly as it sounds - created to give hope, and the perspective to move past difficult things in life, through the form of storytelling, authenticity and vulnerability, from stranger to stranger.
Through Strangers Eyes has grown so quickly, in such a short amount of time, that, initially, the path forward was one that didn’t seem clear. The more I thought about Through Strangers Eyes potential future, the more I had to focus on what really mattered - staying authentic and relatable. So that is what I’m going to do
Through Strangers Eyes 2025 Tour of Australia for Mental Health Awareness. On this trip I aim to sit at 300 different park benches in 300 different towns and cities around Australia. To shed a light on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, human connection and the power of listening. In this time I will film a mental health documentary to further share the importance of mental health.
There is something so special and beautiful when a community comes together to help support a common goal- a healthier, happier and brighter future for all to share. With your help, together we can squash the stigma and promote holding a listening space as a healthy method to counteract the effects of self isolation, depression and anxiety, to just name a few.
I can’t wait for what the next few months look like, leading up to the day that I take off on tour, and I hope you join me on this journey and show your support.
I cannot thank you enough. For a journey shared is a thousand times better than a journey alone ❤️
From me, Blair.
