HUMAN BEFORE ANYTHING MERCH CAMPAIGN
TURNING STRANGERS STORIES INTO WEARABLE HOPE
I’m Blair. I’m 24, and mental health scares me. The numbers are brutal — in Australia, suicide is the leading cause of death, and men under 25 are among the most affected. It breaks me to know so many people fight silent battles they never speak about. Too many are gone before they ever get the chance to feel heard.
I’ve wrestled with my own questions about death, grief, depression, and what it means to keep going. So I started sitting down with strangers — listening, without judgement, to their stories, their truth, their advice. What began as conversations became stories of hope and healing that made me feel less alone in my experiences.
From those voices, the Human Before Anything campaign was born. Their raw accounts of living with depression, navigating the chaos of anxiety, and surviving the emptiness of suicide loss have been turned into wearable art that carries a story of hope, sparks a conversation, and makes no one feel alone.

Raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention through storytelling
Each collection of merch represents a different emotional challenge we face throughout our lives:
-
The Weight We Carry (Depression)
-
The Storm Inside (Anxiety)
-
Their Story Lives On (Grief & Suicide Remembrance)

Each piece within the collection has a QR code on the sleeve that connects you to the real story behind it.
Whether you wear it in solidarity or give it as a gift for someone when you don’t know what to say; an invitation to feel less alone.
Our platform is a safe space to share what’s on your mind, speak without fear, and know someone will listen.
Because before the struggle, before the labels, before anything… we are human.
